Sarah Jane Hyland (Born 24th November, 1990 and aged 21) is an American actress. She was born in Manhattan, New York City and is the daughter of actors Melissa Canaday and Edward James Hyland and sister of actor Ian Hyland. She has been acting since she was 5 years old, with her first role as Howard Stern's daughter in Private Parts (1997). She has also starred in Annie (1999), Spanglish (2007), Cougars, Inc. (2010) and Muppets (2011). She is currently starring as Haley Dunphy on the ABC comedy, Modern Family.
